BUDGIE FEST UPDATE – 11am to 2pm

Get set for Budgie FEST … the most colourful family and kid friendly event of the year in Adelaide.

 

There will be more than 350 birds on show including Lil, who is fluent in English and Japanese, Jimmy a self-professed performing acrobat, Sunstreak with his crested head feathers, and Jiminy Cricket, the king of smooching.

 

The judging panel for the day features two ANBC National judges who are also Budgerigar Hall of Fame exhibitors, one who has just returned from judging at the European titles in Belgium. They will be joined by Will McDonald from Nine News, and former Adelaide Crows Club Champion Scott Thompson. Each of the judges will bring their unique charisma and varying degrees of budgie knowledge to the event.

 

Come down and enjoy the kid’s talent show with budgies, colouring in competitions, roving magic shows, bird care talks and much more as we celebrate the humble budgerigar, the world’s third most popular pet.
