Unreserved Auction: All birds listed in the catalogue will be sold to the highest bidder without reserve.

Terms & Conditions:

Unreserved Auction: The sale is an unreserved auction of birds listed in the catalogue.
Auctioneer’s Rights: The Auctioneer reserves the right to accept or refuse any bird without stating reasons.
Agency Role: Western Suburbs Budgerigar Society Inc. acts only as an agent and is not responsible for faults or defects.
Buyer’s Responsibility: Purchasers must satisfy themselves regarding the sex, colour, variety, origin, age, genuineness, and condition of any lot.
Non-Interference: Birds on display must not be interfered with by judging sticks, pens, or other objects.
No Smoking: Smoking is prohibited in the Auction Hall.
Carry Cages: Not allowed in the Auction Hall until the auction concludes.
Registration: Mandatory for all attendees. Registration requires name, postal address, phone number, club name, and signature.
Bidder’s Number: Each registered person receives a bidder’s number, to be shown to the auctioneer upon successful bids.
Highest Bidder Wins: Each lot will be sold to the highest bidder, disputes resolved by the Auctioneer’s final decision.

Payment and Collection:

Payment Methods: Cash or credit card (3% fee). Cheques are not accepted.
Immediate Payment: Purchasers must pay on the day of the sale and present a receipt for collection.
Bird Handling: Buyers are responsible for handling their birds upon collection.

Health & Safety:

Budgerigar Condition: Only healthy, fully feathered, and self-sufficient birds will be auctioned.
Venue Requirements: Secure, fully roofed, and well-lit venue ensuring safe containment and viewing.
Public Liability Insurance: Comprehensive insurance in place for any incidents.

Special Provisions:

Phone Bidding: Available for remote participants with pre-arranged limits.
Interstate Vendors: Responsible for transportation costs, with WSBS assisting in coordination.
