BSSA Auction 10 2024
The BSSA Auction 10 for 2024, an exciting event for budgerigar enthusiasts and breeders, features an impressive lineup of 20 birds from six esteemed vendors. These birds are coming from the aviaries of Wayne Bandt, Ian & Gina Wise, Graham McCallum, Charlie & Ann Mifsud, Trevor Goodenough, and Ken & Janet Harris, ensuring a diverse and high-quality selection. The varieties on offer at this auction are extensive, including Inos, Clearwings, Cinnamon Wings, Golden Faces, Dominant Pied’s, Opaline Cinnamons, Spangles, and a range of Normals, catering to both seasoned breeders and those new to the hobby.
The auction is set to commence on April 15th and runs through the evening of April 21st, 2024. These birds are exclusively offered by BSSA members and their guests. It’s important to note that all descriptions of the birds provided are taken in good faith from the sellers. To that end, the BSSA Inc does not hold responsibility for any inaccuracies in these descriptions. Moreover, any concerns regarding BSSA Auction 10 for 2024 must be directly addressed with the seller. To maintain privacy and fairness, the auction keeps bids anonymous, displaying only bidder numbers.
Prospective buyers should note the location of each bird. Moreover, the cost of freight will be the responsibility of the purchaser. However, to facilitate smooth communication and transaction processes, we ask all bidders to register their phone numbers. This will not only simplify contact should you be a successful bidder but also aid in arranging logistics. Furthermore, in a generous offer to reduce freight costs, almost all of our vendors have agreed to transport the birds to the airport free of charge. To that end, they are willing to coordinate with other vendors to combine shipments if necessary.

Firstly, the BSSA is a not-for-profit organisation. Secondly, all proceeds from this auction are directed towards promoting the club and furthering the hobby of budgerigar keeping. Founded on May 20th, 1948, The Budgerigar Society of South Australia holds the distinction of being the first budgerigar society in South Australia. Moreover, they are a proud foundation member of the Australian National Budgerigar Council (ANBC). The club is committed to promoting the hobby in a modern and progressive manner. To that end, they support members through education, resources, and community events.
