BSSA Auction 16 2025

BSSA Auction 16 for 2025 is now live and runs from June 16 to June 22. This exciting online auction features 16 quality lots from some of South Australia’s dedicated breeders. These include Sue Adams, Dave Miller, Marie and Kerry Murphy, and George England.

Varieties on offer include Spangles, Violet Skys, Opaline Cinnamonwings, Lutino’s, Lacewings, Dominant Pieds, and Whitecaps. With such a diverse selection, this auction presents a valuable opportunity for breeders and enthusiasts alike.

All birds are sold on behalf of BSSA members. Therefore, bird descriptions are provided in good faith by the sellers. While the BSSA facilitates the platform, it does not accept responsibility for any listing inaccuracies. Buyers must contact the seller directly for clarification if needed.

Importantly, all bids remain anonymous. Only your bidder number will be displayed during the auction. To help streamline communication, bidders must register a current phone number. If successful, this makes it easier for us to contact you quickly.

Additionally, buyers are reminded to check the location of each bird before placing a bid. Freight costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. However, many of our vendors offer free transport to the airport and are willing to combine shipments with other vendors to reduce freight costs.

This marks Online Auction number 189 for the BSSA. Founded in 1948, the BSSA was the first budgerigar society in South Australia. The Club is also a foundation member of the ANBC.
