The BSSA Auction 23 is underway, with 16 birds from a variety of vendors, including Ken & Janet Harris, the Holmes Family, and the Longbottom Family. Among the varieties on offer are Lutino, Spangle, Fallow, Albino, Recessive Pied, Dominant Pied, Opaline and Normal Grey. To that end, there is truly a mix of everything here, perfect for the avid fancier.
Moving on to the birds available for sale, these are offered by BSSA Members and Guests. It is important to note that all descriptions of the birds are provided in good faith by the sellers. However, it’s essential to mention that BSSA Inc. does not take responsibility for any inaccuracies in the descriptions. Should any issues arise, they must be addressed directly with the seller.
To ensure a fair process, bids will remain anonymous, and only your bidder number will be displayed. Additionally, please keep in mind the location of the bird, as the freight cost will be the responsibility of the purchaser. With this in mind, for a smoother contact process for successful bidders, registering a phone number is highly recommended.
About the BSSA
Now, let’s talk a bit about the BSSA itself. The Budgerigar Society of South Australia Incorporated (BSSA) is a dedicated not-for-profit organization. Moreover, proceeds from these bird sales are channeled towards promoting the club and advancing the hobby.
Established on May 20th, 1948, the Budgerigar Society of South Australia holds the distinction of being the first budgerigar society in the region. As a proud founding member of the Australian National Budgerigar Council (ANBC), our club is firmly committed to promoting the hobby and serving its members in a modern and progressive manner.
