Auction 6 for 2025 from the Budgerigar Society of South Australia (BSSA) features 16 carefully selected birds from experienced breeders. Vendors include Marie & Kerry Murphy, George England, Chris Jones, Jane Kelb, and Peter Brumby, each offering birds from their top breeding programs.
A diverse range of varieties is available, including Spangle, Recessive Pied, Violet, Opaline, Crest-bred, Inos, and Whitecaps. Whether you are a breeder looking to enhance your stud or an enthusiast seeking new additions, this auction presents an excellent opportunity.
The auction began on March 17th and will close on March 23rd, 2025. All birds are available for purchase on behalf of BSSA members.

- Bird Descriptions: Sellers provide all descriptions in good faith. BSSA Inc. is not responsible for any inaccuracies, and buyers must address any concerns directly with the vendor.
- Bidding Process: Bids remain completely anonymous, with only bidder numbers displayed.
- Freight Responsibility: Buyers are responsible for all freight costs. Please check the bird’s location before bidding to avoid unexpected expenses.
- Communication: To ensure efficient contact, bidders must register their phone number when participating in the auction.
- Transport Assistance: Most vendors offer free transport to the airport. Additionally, when possible, sellers collaborate to combine shipments, reducing freight costs for buyers.
