BSSA Auction 8 2024

Welcome to the BSSA Auction 8 for 2024, where we are excited to showcase birds from esteemed breeders such as Jane Kelb, Doug & Ruth Lange, Ken & Janet Harris, and Chris Jones. This event features a variety of birds including Normal Greens, Dominant Pied’s, Lutino’s, Cinnamons, Spangles, and Yellowfaces.

Regarding BSSA Auction 8 for 2024, the birds up for sale come from both BSSA Members and Guests. We take all bird descriptions from the sellers in good faith. However, it is important to note that BSSA Inc does not hold responsibility for any inaccuracies in these descriptions; any concerns should be directly addressed with the seller. Furthermore, we maintain bidder anonymity, displaying only the bidder number during the auction process. Buyers should also consider the location of each bird, as the responsibility for freight costs falls to them. We encourage registrants to provide their phone numbers to facilitate smooth communication, especially if they emerge as successful bidders.

Most of our vendors offer the convenience of transporting the birds to the airport at no additional cost to the buyer and are willing to coordinate with other vendors to minimise freight costs. As a non-profit organization, the BSSA dedicates all proceeds to the promotion of the club and the bird breeding hobby.

Abou the BSSA

The Budgerigar Society of South Australia Incorporated. established on May 20th, 1948. To that end, it holds the distinction of being the first budgerigar society in South Australia. Furthermore, it is a proud foundation member of the Australian National Budgerigar Council (ANBC). Our club commits to promoting the hobby of budgerigar breeding in a modern and progressive manner. Additionally, we dedicate ourselves to serving the interests and passions of our members.
