BSSA Auction 9 2025 is now live, showcasing 12 quality budgerigars from respected BSSA members. Moreover, vendors include Marie & Kerry Murphy, Dave Miller, and Peter Brumby.
This exciting auction features a range of sought-after varieties, including Clearwings, Dominant Pieds, Normals, Opalines, and Spangles. Running from April 7th to April 13th, this event provides a fantastic opportunity to support the hobby and purchase standout birds.
All birds are listed on behalf of BSSA members. To that end, descriptions are provided in good faith by the seller. Any questions or concerns must be directed to the vendor.
To bid, please ensure your phone number is registered—this simplifies the contact process for successful bidders. All bids remain anonymous, with only your bidder number displayed.
Buyers are responsible for freight costs, so please check each bird’s location before bidding. Fortunately, most vendors will transport to the airport at no charge and are happy to combine freight with others to reduce costs.
Importantly, the BSSA is a not-for-profit organisation. Every dollar raised through BSSA Auction 9 2025 goes back into promoting the club and the hobby.
Founded on May 20th, 1948, the Budgerigar Society of South Australia was the state’s first dedicated budgerigar club. As a founding member of the Australian National Budgerigar Council (ANBC), the BSSA remains committed to progressing the hobby in a modern and inclusive way.
