This exciting auction features birds for sale from a dedicated pet breeder, Simon Dale, in Springvale, Melbourne. To that end, Simon reached out to the BSSA to participate in our online auctions. Off the back of this, the BSSA created BSSA Pet Bird Auction 5. This breeder offers a unique opportunity to acquire birds with impressive bloodlines. Most of these birds have lineage tracing back to Christine Sabateen in South Australia. Christine was a beloved and highly respected breeder for many years. Moreover, she was known for her expertise in frillbacks, clearbodies, dilutes, and some of the most remarkable crests. Her legacy lives on through these birds, making this auction a special event for enthusiasts.
As you explore the listings, you will notice that almost all the birds are crest-bred, with many exhibiting the distinctive tuffed/crested and frillback features. Although the majority of these birds are unrung, the vendor possesses extensive knowledge of their hatch years and breeding performance, ensuring that potential buyers have valuable information.
