Capricornia 2024
Welcome to the Capricornia Budgerigar Society Auction for 2024! The live event is being held on Sunday, 9th of June, 2024, at North Rockhampton High School, Berserker St, North Rockhampton. Firstly, benching occurs at 7:45 AM, with viewing at 8 AM, and the auction starting at 9 AM. Additionally, the event features 33 breeders, primarily from Queensland. Furthermore, Capricornia Budgerigar Society President Russell Ogden extends his thanks to those who enter birds and support the auction.
Moreover, on Saturday, 8th June, a Capricornia Budgerigar Society Auction 2024 pre-function is booked at the Rockhampton Leagues Club, Cambridge St, Rockhampton, commencing at 6 PM. Attendance is encouraged to share a meal and a chat. Therefore, please RSVP by the 5th of June, 2024, to confirm numbers with the venue. Lastly, a total of 200 lots are available on the day.

About the Capricornia Budgerigar Society
The Capricornia Budgerigar Society comes into existence following a meeting of 12 fanciers on 24 June 1968. Since then, as an incorporated association, it continues to serve the needs of Budgerigar Breeders and Exhibitors in the Central Queensland region.
Furthermore, the CBS Inc is a founding member of the North Queensland Zone. This now operating as the Queensland North and Central Zone. This incorporates the Budgerigar Clubs from south of Gladstone to Cape York. Additionally, the CBS Inc is an enthusiastic participant in the annual ANBC Show and has hosted the event in 1989 and 2010. Members consistently achieve recognition and success at this Show.
Locally, the CBS Inc conducts 3 major shows each year, as well as arranging a variety of smaller shows at meetings or members’ homes.
In conclusion, the focus of the CBS Inc is to assist each member in getting the maximum enjoyment and success from this rewarding hobby.
