Auction Terms and Conditions:

Viewing time is from 9:00 AM to 9:55 AM.
Auction starts at 10:00 AM sharp.
Benching of lots is 8:00 AM to 8:55 AM sharp.
The sale is an unreserved auction of birds listed in the catalogue; some substitutes may also be included.
All lots will be submitted in the order in which they appear in the catalogue.
The Auctioneer reserves the right to accept or refuse any bid on birds without having to state any reason.
NO SMOKING inside the auction hall.
Carry cages will not be allowed into the main body of the auction hall until the conclusion of the auction.
Newcastle Budgerigar Club Inc. acts as an agent only and is not responsible for any faults or defects in any lot.
All statements in the catalogue as to the sex, colour, variety, origin, age, genuineness, provenance, or condition of any lot should not be relied upon as statement or fact. Intending purchasers must satisfy themselves as to these details.
Each person wishing to bid must register prior to the auction, providing name, address, contact phone number, and signature.
Each registered person will receive a bidder’s number which must be shown to the Auctioneer after the fall of the hammer for completion of the purchaser’s receipt.
Each lot will be sold to the highest bidder.
No retraction of bids is allowed after the fall of the hammer; disputes will be settled by re-auctioning the lot in dispute.
Each lot is at the purchaser’s risk after the fall of the hammer; all lots are sold with all faults.
Any bird passed in will be re-auctioned after all other lots are completed.
No lot can be removed during the sale; all lots must be removed at the conclusion of the sale.
Payment must be made at the conclusion of the auction. Preferred payment methods: CASH, EFPOS, CARD (Master Card/Visa Card with a 5% surcharge).
Purchasers must take their purchases with them and pay at the payment table to receive a receipt required for collection of birds.
Show cages are not included in the purchase price and are not for sale.

Phone bidding is welcome but agents must be appointed by the bidder. Contact Aussie Pet Connections at 0400 966 738 by Wednesday, 7th August to arrange phone bidding for intended lots.

Transportation:

Aussie Pet Connections is the official sponsor for transportation. Contact Carmel on 0400 966 738 to arrange transportation upon securing your first lot.
