SQBBA Auction 2025
The South Queensland Budgerigar Breeders Association (SQBBA) is proud to present their 2025 Quality Budgerigar Auction, scheduled for Saturday, 21st June 2025. This eagerly anticipated event will take place at the Community Centre, 1480 Anzac Ave, Kallangur QLD 4503, and promises an outstanding selection of budgerigars from some of the region’s top breeders.
The auction catalogue features over 180 lots, showcasing a diverse variety of budgerigar strains including Recessive Pied, Opaline, Spangle, Cinnamon wing, Dominant Pied, Lutino, and many more. Birds come from renowned breeders such as Henry George, Mario Capasso, Brian Walters, Mick Gearing, Mal & Rob Randall, Estate Mal Lawn, J & W Weidenhofer, Garry & Helen Hibberd, and numerous others, ensuring buyers have access to birds bred from proven champion lines and prestigious bloodlines.
Many of the birds are young, well-prepared for breeding, and represent the highest standards in feather quality, colour, and temperament. Noteworthy lots include rare recessive pied greys, top-quality opaline cocks and hens, striking double factor spangles, and excellent cinnamon wing and greywing varieties.
