INTERCLUB 24 “BEST ON THE PERCH” SHOW

Open Show Details:

This is an Open Show for any member of any club in South Australia. It is also a Status Movement Show, offering a chance for exhibitors to showcase their birds and potentially progress in status.

Entry Information:

⏰ Deadline: 8:00 PM on Sunday, 3rd November 2024.

💰 Entry Fee: $1.00 per bird (Maximum $20 for exhibitors with more than 20 entries).

Please Note: All birds must be rung with a RED 2024 ANBC closed ring.
No late entries will be accepted. Be aware that standard mail delivery may take up to six working days.

Entry Form Submission:

  • Print and complete the entry form.
  • Scan and email the completed form.
  • Pay the entry fee on the day (please add $1.50 for postage and handling).

Show Day Information:

  • Birds to be benched between 9:00 AM and 9:45 AM.
  • Judging will commence at 10:00 AM.
  • Presentations at 2:00 PM (or earlier, if possible).

Benching and judging times have been adjusted to accommodate travelling exhibitors.

Show Rules:

The show will be conducted under BSSA Show Rules. All birds must be presented in standard ANBC-approved show cages. The BSSA will accept chrome or powder-coated cages fitted with a (dry) drinker.

Cage Requirements:

  • Cages must be fitted with a White D drinker, half-filled with an equal mix of Canary Seed, Jap Millet, and White Millet.
  • No seed is allowed on the floor of the cage.
  • D drinker must be fixed to the bottom wire near the door.
  • Stickers to be placed on the bottom left-hand side of the show cage.

The Safety Officer reserves the right to reject any birds prior to judging due to illness, deformity, or improperly prepared cages that pose a hazard to the birds.

Points & Awards:

Interclub Points will be awarded to the top six placed birds in each class/variety.

Hot Weather Policy:

If the forecast temperature is 32°C or above (based on the 6:00 PM Channel 7 Weather Report the evening prior), the show will be cancelled. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to check the weather forecast.

Lunch:

Lunch will be provided for all exhibitors and attendees.
