Bill Schultz has indicated that he is currently “cutting back on bird numbers. These birds will not be used and some have bred well for us.” As a result, the Bill Schultz Reduction Sale 2026 presents a rare opportunity for breeders. Bill Schultz is a well-known Australian exhibition budgerigar breeder based in Townsville, Queensland. He is also an active member of the North Queensland Budgerigar Zone (NQBZ). Over many years, Bill has contributed to the budgerigar hobby as a breeder, exhibitor and administrator.

Currently serving as President of the NQBZ, Bill has remained heavily involved in supporting budgerigar clubs. He also encourages participation in exhibition budgerigars across the region.

Bill Schultz is also a competitive exhibitor on the show bench, regularly competing at zone and national level. At a recent ANBC National Show, Bill achieved an outstanding result by placing first with an Opaline Cinnamonwing Green Hen. He earned one of the prestigious Logie awards for the variety.
