BSSA Auction 13 for 2026 Now Underway
BSSA Auction 13 for 2026 is now live. It features 17 quality budgerigars from respected breeders and vendors including Marie & Kerry Murphy, Dave Miller, Chris Jones, George England, Jane Kelb and Rob McLean. The auction started on June 22 and will finish at 7:00 pm ACST on June 28. Extended bidding will apply if required.
This auction offers a strong selection of birds across a range of popular varieties, including Cinnamonwing, Normal Dark Green, Greywing, Melanistic Spangle, Opaline Cinnamonwing, Spangle Double Factor, Spangle and more. While the birds are being sold by the listed vendors, some have been bred by other well-known breeders. These include B & M Wise, Clay Borg & Skivington, and Peter Glassenbury.
All birds, except those listed from Rob McLean, are located in Adelaide, South Australia. Please check the location of each bird carefully before bidding. This is important, as freight costs and arrangements are the responsibility of the purchaser.

These birds are being sold on behalf of BSSA Members. All descriptions are provided in good faith by the sellers. BSSA Inc is not responsible for any inaccuracies, and any questions about individual bird descriptions should be directed to the seller.
Please note that all bidding is anonymous. To that end, only your bidder number will be visible during the auction. Bidders are encouraged to register their phone number, as this assists with communication if they are successful.
Almost all vendors are happy to transport birds to the airport at no cost to the buyer. They may also be willing to combine freight with other vendors where possible to help reduce costs.
The Budgerigar Society of South Australia is a not-for-profit organisation. All proceeds from this auction go towards supporting the club and promoting the budgerigar hobby.
