BSSA Auction 28 – October 2025 

The BSSA Auction 28 for 2025 is here! Running from 13 October to 19 October 2025, this exciting online budgerigar auction proudly showcases quality birds offered on behalf of BSSA Members. Featuring 13 carefully selected lots, this event is your chance to secure well-bred exhibition and breeding stock from some of South Australia’s most experienced fanciers.

This week’s vendors include Marie & Kerry Murphy, George England, and Dave Miller. To that end, each is recognised for their commitment to breeding strong, show-standard birds. Varieties available include Cinnamonwing, Dominant Pied, Spangle, Recessive Pied. Moreover, this provides excellent opportunities to strengthen your stud or introduce new genetics into your breeding program.

All descriptions of birds are provided in good faith by the sellers, and while BSSA Inc takes great care to ensure accuracy, any questions or clarifications should be directed to the vendor.

Bidding is simple, secure, and completely anonymous — only your bidder number will be visible. To ensure smooth communication if you’re a successful bidder, please register your phone number when placing your bids.

Buyers are reminded to check the bird’s location before bidding, as freight costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. The good news is that most vendors offer free transport to the airport. Moreover, most are happy to combine birds with other vendors to help reduce freight costs wherever possible.

The Budgerigar Society of South Australia (BSSA) is a not-for-profit organisation, with all proceeds from the auction going directly towards promoting the club and supporting the hobby across the state.
