How the Auction Works
- For sale by BSSA members: All bird descriptions are provided in good faith by the seller.
- Accuracy: The BSSA Inc. is not responsible for any inaccuracies—please address directly with the vendor.
- Anonymous bidding: Only your bidder number will be displayed.
- Freight: Check the bird’s location—buyer pays freight. Most vendors will transport to the airport at no cost and can combine consignments to help reduce buyer freight costs.
- Registration tip: Include your phone number to simplify contact if you are successful.
About the BSSA
The Budgerigar Society of South Australia Incorporated was founded on 20 May 1948. As South Australia’s first budgerigar society and a foundation member of the Australian National Budgerigar Council (ANBC), the BSSA promotes the hobby and supports its members in a modern, progressive way. The BSSA is a not-for-profit organisation—all proceeds from Auction 30 go towards club activities and the development of the hobby.
