BSSA Auction 31 for 2025 brings you a carefully selected team of 13 quality exhibition budgerigars. To that end, all birds are available from Budgerigar Society of South Australia members. This online budgerigar auction features birds from well-known South Australian breeders: Jane Kelb, Kerry & Marie Murphy, and Trevor Goodenough. All birds are located in South Australia. Trevor Goodenough’s birds are based in Murray Bridge. This makes it an ideal opportunity for local and interstate fanciers looking to add new bloodlines to their stud.

Varieties on offer in BSSA Auction 31 include Spangles, Recessive Pieds, Cinnamonwings, Dominant Pieds and Black Eyed Selfs. To that end, this provides a strong mix of popular and sought-after exhibition types. Whether you are experienced or an enthusiastic newer breeder, this auction offers something for everyone.

Bidding is completely anonymous, and only your bidder number shows, ensuring a fair and confidential auction process.

Please check the listed location of each bird carefully. All freight costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. Buyers should register their phone number when bidding. This greatly assists with prompt contact if you are successful. In most cases, vendors are happy to transport birds to the nearest airport at no cost. They will often combine shipments with other vendors where possible to reduce freight charges.

The BSSA is a not-for-profit organisation. All proceeds from BSSA Auction 31 go towards promoting the club, supporting its members and encouraging the budgerigar hobby in a modern and progressive way. Founded on 20 May 1948, the Budgerigar Society of South Australia was the first budgerigar society in the state. It is also a foundation member of the ANBC.
