BSSA Auction 32 2025

BSSA Auction 32 2025 brings another quality selection of budgerigars to the bench, with 10 birds offered by BSSA members Kerry & Marie Murphy, Peter Brumby, and Trevor Goodenough. To this end, this online auction supports the Budgerigar Society of South Australia (BSSA), a not-for-profit organisation where proceeds help promote the club and the wider hobby.

What’s on offer

A tidy mix of popular show-bench and breeding-room varieties is available, including Dominant Pieds, Normals, Opalines, and Spangles.

Bidding, registration, and buyer information

Bidding is completely anonymous: only your bidder number will be displayed throughout the auction to ensure a fair and confidential process. Please register with a current phone number—this makes it much easier to contact you promptly if you are a successful bidder.

Location and freight support

These birds are located in Adelaide. Almost all vendors will deliver birds to the airport at no charge and can combine birds with other vendors when multiple purchases are made, helping reduce freight costs. Buying multiple lots? Moreover, ask vendors to combine consignments where possible to minimise handling and help keep freight costs down.

Freight boxes are available from the BSSA:

1–4 birds: $20
5–7 birds: $25
8+ birds: $30
