Andrew & Wayne Cusack Auction 4 for 2026 is now live, offering fanciers another opportunity to purchase quality exhibition budgerigars from the well-established Cusack family lines. This online budgerigar auction finishes on June 20th at 8:00pm AEST. If required, there will be extended bidding.

This is the fourth of several auctions being held by A & W Cusack in 2026. The auction features a total of 20 birds, mainly made up of cull birds from strong breeding lines. These birds are mostly lesser siblings to retained birds. Additionally, there are birds bred from quality pairs that did not quite make the grade to stay in the stud. There are also a couple of older birds included. These will no longer be used in the breeding room.

About Andrew & Wayne Cusack

Andrew and Wayne Cusack are well known within the exhibition budgerigar fancy for producing birds with strong facial features, width and style. Their birds are recognised for having plenty of face. Furthermore, the family has built a reputation for line-bred birds that carry a consistent look and type.

Wayne Cusack has enjoyed success over more than 30 years in the hobby. Numerous birds have represented New South Wales at the Australian National Budgerigar Championships. He has also bred five National winners, all in the Black Eyed Self class. Now, he is recognised in the Hall of Fame. Over the years, Wayne has also won many Grand Champion and Section Champion awards across New South Wales.

Andrew Cusack has also achieved strong results at National level, including success with Normal Greys, Clearwings and Greywings. His results include a Normal Grey placing 6th in 2022. Furthermore, Clearwings placed 2nd in 2023 and 3rd in 2026. A Greywing placed 10th in 2026. Andrew has also won Grand Champion and Section Champion awards around the state.

Varieties on Offer

The Cusack Auction 4 2026 includes a useful range of exhibition budgerigar varieties, including Cinnamonwings, Split Fallows, Normals, Dilutes, Black Eyed Selfs, Clearwings, Opalines and Fallows. Many of the birds are semi-related across the Cusack studs. This is because Andrew and Wayne regularly share birds and bloodlines.

Collection and Freight Information

Birds are located at 109 Birch Avenue, Dubbo, NSW 2830. Successful buyers may collect birds from Dubbo, or arrange air freight and boxes at their own cost. Boxes suitable for 1–4 birds are $25 each, and boxes suitable for 5–10 birds are $30 each.

All winning bids must be paid within 48 hours of the auction conclusion.
