Elmir Family April Sale 2026

The Elmir Family April Reduction Sale 2026 is now live, giving budgerigar breeders and buyers the chance to secure quality birds. Running from March 25 to April 3, this sale features 20 birds offered as part of a genuine reduction in numbers from the Elmir Family bird room.

The Elmir Family has been breeding budgies on and off for the past 12 years. Although they stepped away from the hobby twice for different reasons, they returned four years ago and rebuilt their stud with purpose. Since coming back, they have reintroduced some of their older Gary Gazzard bloodlines and added birds from Alan Kent, Peter Thurn, Wayne Weidenhofer, and pure Garry Watson lines. Those bloodlines have bred magnificently and helped shape the quality now being offered in this sale.

This reduction comes as the Elmir Family cuts back from around 200 birds to about 80, including approximately 60 normals and 20 crests, plus young birds. The decision has been made mainly due to work commitments and the growing demands of family life. As a result, buyers now have access to birds that may not otherwise have been made available.
