For those who don’t know him, Elmir has been breeding budgerigars for around 12 years, on and off. To that end, he has sold out twice for different reasons. Importantly, since returning to the hobby four years ago, he has rebuilt using some of his original Gary Gazzard line. Additionally, he has used quality birds from Alan Kent, Peter Thurn, Wayne Weidenhofer, and pure Garry Watson lines. According to Elmir, these lines have bred magnificently, forming the backbone of his current stud.
Birds marked with an “X” after their title trace back to the respected lines of Ian Hunter and Charles Mifsud. To that end, this offers buyers confidence in the depth of pedigree behind these budgies.
Due to work commitments and growing family demands, Elmir is reducing from around 200 birds down to about 60 normals and 20 crests, maintaining a focused team of roughly 80 birds plus young stock. This reduction is your gain.
