Jupp & Sheerer Auction 1 for 2026 Now Live

The Jupp & Sheerer Auction 1 for 2026 is now underway, offering budgerigar breeders and exhibitors across Australia the chance to secure birds from a respected and long-standing partnership. Featuring 19 birds, this auction includes a mix of young and older birds, with most unused, while those that have been used have produced.

Jupp & Sheerer is a proud Grandma and Grandson partnership between Pat Jupp and Dan Sheerer, with more than 30 years in the budgerigar fancy. Together, they have enjoyed success at National level, including a National win in the Spangle class in 2010 and a Normal Grey National win in 2018, along with several other top 10 placings.

The partnership has represented their state at National level on many occasions across multiple varieties, demonstrating the strength and depth of their breeding program. Dan is also an aspiring judge, with the long-term goal of becoming a Nationally Accredited Judge. This ongoing commitment to learning, judging and breeding reflects the care and direction behind the Jupp & Sheerer stud.

Their stud is based largely around Gazzard, Druery and Barnett bloodlines, with some Turner and Cusack lines also included. As the partnership comes to the end of the breeding season, they are making available a selection of birds that are now surplus to their needs, including some older birds that will no longer be used in their own breeding program.

Pickup and Shipping Instructions

Local bidders can collect birds from Rutherford, NSW. Any bidders attending the Interbranch State Show in a couple of weeks can also pick up birds on that day.

Freight and all associated costs are the sole responsibility of the winning bidder. Please take these costs into consideration prior to placing any bids.

Lots will not be released until the Wednesday following the auction completion to allow collection and payments of funds as required. No birds will be released until all funds have been received for all lots provided by the vendor.
