The Moreton Bay Auction 2026 is set to be one of the major budgerigar auctions on the South Queensland calendar. It will bring together a large selection of quality birds from respected breeders across Queensland. Also, breeders from New South Wales and South Australia will be included. Hosted by the Moreton Budgerigar Association Inc., this auction will take place on Sunday, 26 July 2026. The location is the Strathpine Community Centre, Mecklem Street, Strathpine. The event will commence at 9 AM.
This year’s catalogue features a wide range of exhibition budgerigars, with 234 lots listed from a strong group of vendors. Breeders represented include the Boal Family, Kev O’Callaghan, Russell & Cheryl Ogden, Ian Schneider, Jason & Wayne Weidenhofer, Garry Edwards, Malcolm Loveridge, Garry Murray, Aaron Forbes, Scott Eriksen, Barlow & Janes, Brett & Danny Card, Wayne Stephan, Garry & Helen Hibberd, Errol & Lynne Miller, Trevor Broadbent, Chris Rogers, John Boss. In addition, many more breeders are included.

In addition, with bloodlines from established studs and birds bred from successful National-level families, this auction provides genuine depth for fanciers.
