NEBS November Mega Auction 2025

Welcome to the November Mega Auction 2025 for the North East Budgerigar Society (NEBS). This month, NEBS is running a very special Mega Auction, featuring the sell out of ANBC Judge Cedric D’Costa. For those who don’t know Cedric, keep reading.

After nearly four decades breeding budgerigars, exhibiting champions, and judging at the highest level, Cedric D’Costa now steps away from the hobby. Accordingly, he offers a large number of birds, predominantly Spangles and Clearwings.

To begin with, Cedric’s achievements include sustained exhibition success and progression to National Judge. Moreover, he produces three class winners at the National Championships (Ino, Clearwing, and Spangle Double Factor), along with two seconds and two thirds. In addition, he shows Grand Champion birds at multiple events across Victoria, NSW, the ACT, and South Queensland. Finally, he takes particular pride in developing his own lines with frontal feather release and no head markings; however, the only goal he does not yet achieve is winning the National Clearwing class with a true variety bird.

The auction also features birds from Ian & Gina Wise, and the Holmes Family. A total of 39 birds are on offer. Varieties include Spangle, Spangle Double Factor, Clearwing, Crested, Dilutes, Cinnamonwings and more.

This NEBS November Mega Auction 2025 starts on November 3rd, and ends on November 9th. All bidding is anonymous. To that end, only your bidder number will be visible. The location of all birds is in Adelaide. Finally, all freight costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.
