The St George Budgie Auction 2026 is set to be one of the must-attend budgerigar events on the New South Wales calendar. The auction will be held on Saturday, 20th June 2026, commencing at 10.00 am at the Bexley School of Arts, 476 Forest Road, Bexley. Bidder registration and viewing will begin from 9.00 am. This gives buyers time to inspect the birds and consider the lots before bidding begins. The auctioneer for the day will be James Matthews.

Important Auction Information
Only registered bidders will be able to bid on lots. Attendees intending to purchase birds must register before entering the hall. They will receive a bidder card with their allocated bidder number. Buyers are encouraged to use the viewing time wisely. Therefore, you should inspect the birds carefully and form your own assessment before bidding.
Payment on the day will be available by cash, Mastercard or Visa, with a card surcharge applying. Morning tea, a sausage sizzle and drinks will also be available at reasonable prices. As a result, it will be a great social day for budgerigar enthusiasts.
