SWBC 2025 Auction

The SWBC 2025 Auction is set to be a highlight of the Western Australian budgerigar calendar. Hosted by SWBC (Mandurah) Inc, this annual event brings together respected breeders and dedicated hobbyists for a quality-focused sale day in Mandurah.

• Date: Sunday, 21 September 2025
• Venue: Coodanup Community Centre, Wanjeep Street, Coodanup (Mandurah)
• Setting Up / Benching: 10:00 AM
• Viewing: 10:30 AM – 11:45 AM
• Auction: From 12:00 PM

Food and drinks are available on-site for a relaxed, welcoming day. Please bring your own catalogue as only a limited number are available on the day. Printed catalogues can be pre-ordered.

Secure birds from well-regarded names including Jennifer Camarda, Ron Minn, Stephen Ramsden, Les Trumper, Norm Wheatley, Ian Cullen, Robyn Peirce and Les Woodcock. With a wide variety across the catalogue—such as Lacewings, Spangles, Cinnamonwings, Recessive Pieds, Clearbodies, Opalines, Yellowfaces and Black-Eyed Selfs—the auction is ideal for exhibitors and hobbyists looking to strengthen their studs.

Auction Conditions

• Firstly, all attendees must register on arrival and will receive a bidder’s number. The number must be shown to the auctioneer after the fall of the hammer.
• Secondly, there is a minimum reserve of $50 on all birds. Bidding increments: $5 (or higher).
• BYO carry cages: Purchasers must bring their own cages and collect birds at the completion of the auction (or as arranged).
• Upon the fall of the hammer, each lot is at the purchaser’s risk. Please inspect lots during viewing.
• Finally, there is a 10% commission on the selling price applies to SWBC (Mandurah) Inc.
