About Our Studs
Wayne has devoted more than 30 years to the fancy, with numerous budgerigars representing NSW at the Nationals. He has achieved five ANBC National wins — all in the Black Eyed Self class — and is proudly in the Hall of Fame. Across the State he has secured many Grand Champion and Section Champion titles, building a stud that reproduces the same hallmark features, look and balance, generation after generation.
Andrew continues that standard in his own right, taking birds to the Nationals with strong placings: 6th in Normal Greys (2022) and 2nd in Clearwings (2023). He has also earned multiple Grand Champion and Section Champion awards around the State. Together we’ve won numerous Best of Variety awards, and since 4 June 2023 we have shown in partnership as A & W Cusack. Our studs are semi-related, with shared breeders ensuring a cohesive family and consistent style.
